Georgetown Cupcake is one of the famous cupcake shops in DC area. Every time we went to Georgetown, there was always a long line in front of the shop. People wouldn't leave before the shop have closed. This arouse my curiosity about why people are crazy about cupcake so badly. Therefore, I tried to taste as many brands of cupcakes as I could and guessed the reason. Till now...
I'm still not quite understand why Americans are so into cupcakes. The only thing I get is it's really sweet. If that's the reason, well... not surprising at all. The way they enjoy cupcakes is not elegant either... just bite and let the sponge cake and the sugar cream full of your mouth. Wild...but fun!! You still can find a decent way to enjoy them if you prefer... like using fork, but I believe you're gonna miss the important message from having cupcakes. As for what it is... it takes time to figure it out. :)
